Description:
This was my first finished map that I finished some time ago. It's a fun map but is a little lacking on detail.
I would like to work on it some more and make a much better version of the map but I have other projects I am working
on that has a much higher priority. I may just leave this map as it is.
Star wars and Dune are two of my favorite movies/stories. I just had to make the map.....no question about it.
Basically my first released map other than the ones available on our web site at www.levelingmechanism.com.com .
I have learned a lot over the course of making this map so stay tuned on more maps to come because I am currently
working on a few other maps.
I like secrets, so there are a few secrets in the map.....not a lot but I thought it would be better to let you
know that they exist. Can't tell you where or what they are.....that would take all the fun out of it. But I
will tell you there are 6 separate areas. However.....there is one area that works best on a rented server
such as ours....and I will give you a hint....."slippyslide". If hosted on a personal computer....it may lag
some if you fight with sabers.....but no lag on a rented server.
Dune_IX is a lot of fun......lots of powerups.....lots of weapons.....and lots of jump pads!!!!! So have fun!!!
